Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

Peter still has stiff competition in the Stupid contest with Mohinder.

So, does nobody know that Nathan has a power? Did HRG agree to work with Nathan to protect Claire?

And I wonder if HRG had flight redirecting plans given that Claire wound up on the plane after all.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Did he know she did?

You're right - he didn't know she was there.

BTW, nice little Terminator moment with Mohinder. . . even if HGR was faking it.

Noah's got a lot on the ball, but I don't think even he could plan for the contingency of his daughter getting captured, escaping just as his plane takes off, and climbing aboard via the landing gear wheel well.

Damn it, I thought that sort of contingency planning was his super power!

Anyway, overall I thought that the episode was alot of fun and it leaves me hopeful for the rest of the mini-arc.

BTW, it was alot of fun to see Sylar taking apart the evil Homeland Security SWAT.

To be fair, if Nathan had reneged and put Claire onboard the plane, there might have been a plan or two that HRG could have had handy.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

So, does nobody know that Nathan has a power? Did HRG agree to work with Nathan to protect Claire?

I think the series regulars all know, but he's largely concealing his powers.

I find it interesting that some people think Nathan's out of character here. Among the first things Nathan said about the powers when he finally acknowledged they were real was that he'd round up everyone with powers and and put them on an island. I'll admit he was out of character last time around, when he threw in with Papa Petrelli, but the underlying current has been the same throughout: He thinks people with powers are dangerous, and he's flailing around for the best method to protect normal people from them. That he's completely wrong in his method just makes him a Petrelli.

Did HRG agree to work with Nathan to protect Claire?

As always, HRG seems to be working an angle, and keeping Claire out of things was probably the bargaining chip. He should have known she'd get invovled, though. Because she's Claire, and even in an episode which was sort of split between the slow and the awesome, she comes down squarely on the awesome side.

One thing I'm happy about: most of our principle characters are in the same fricking scene. Soooo over everybody only crossing each other's path occasionally. They all know each other now, and they all have deep ties to one another. Supporting characters are nice, and a lot of them were great, but the show was drowning in its supporting cast, when a lot of the regulars weren't getting enough attention.

So ... Peter, HRG, Claire, Matt, Mohinder, Hiro and Not!Nikki are on the plane. (Am I forgetting someone?) Who's left to pull off a rescue? Ando and Daphne? Sylar's not really the rescuing type, and Nathan's a ... well, in light of my previous thoughts on Nathan, let's call him an antagonist and not a "bad guy." Ando can track them, though, and Daphne can get there. And they actually know each other.
