I'm handwaving that Daphne's power actually involves manipulating the flow of time in a limited fashion rather than just running fast (hence being able to break out of Hiro's time stops) and with a supercharge she was able to use it for full-on time travel.

Of course, even if not the writers are sort of being true to the source material, crackified though it may be. The Flash could do anything by running fast enough. I once read a spoof where the Wonder Twins turned into a goldfish in a puddle and the Flash ran really fast in circles around them, thereby returning them to their own dimension. It wasn't really much sillier than what he's done in the regular comics.

What Theodosia says. I have to just go with it w/o trying to understand it too much. Particularly on Heroes where I don't think that they creators have put all that much thought into it.

I also enjoyed moments of Hiro with his 10-year old self, and with Kaito. (I came up with a theory that Hiro is better when he's speaking in Japanese than when they have him speaking in English.)

I have to admit that I was kind of hoping that Sylar was Angela's son but not Arthur's. Oh well.

I see no reason why Meredeth has to be dead. Even out of control, she's immune to her own powers. I suspect, once the adrenaline burns itself out of her system, she'll simply hightail it out of there. (Superhero trope #1: No body, no death. Alas, this probably holds true for Sylar, too. Sigh.)

I think that we were supposed to think that she exploded, a la Ted. If she makes it out of the building collapse, she should be fine. but, as you say, if there's no body, they will be back.

I kid, but the biggest weakness on this show has been that it keeps trying to repeat the same story over and over again, and it bugs. If they can get back to real character stuff again, they might be able to get it back. If not, they're doomed. (Of course, dropping Loeb and the other writer and bringing back Fuller makes me hopeful.)

Jessica, I was thinking that this show is more "whatever has happened before will happen again" than BSG.

I am now watching this show with my Smallville Goggles. I have no expectations for character development or consistency, but hope for a decent superhero yarn. Last night delivered, mostly, and here's hoping the Fugitives chapter does the same.
