Our wings are not tired.

I don't want a show with so many people I like to be stupid. Stop it!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So if Sylar saved Peter, does that mean he's only playing along with his dad, or that he just couldn't bring himself to kill his brother?

Also, why isn't Matt picking up some big honking betrayal/guilty thoughts from Flashette? Is Pater Petrelli somehow sending mental blockage that far away, or did Matt succumb to the stupid virus too?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think quick running woman probably is torn and so that's why Matt can't quite see through her yet.

Sylar is definitely has the stupid Petrelli gene if he believes his father right off the bat. But he believed his mother right off the bat, so who knows?

Thing is (which is what I wished Sylar had asked the father), if Angela dreamed that Sylar would blow up the world, then why didn't Papa Petrelli just take his powers away?

OOH, I wonder if dad is the one who wiped Sylar's powers and sent him to the island. Has the company been able to take powers from anyone else?

Or she's scamming Papa Petrelli, and not Matt.

The answer is clearly because Papa Petrelli is a lying liar who lies.

Art Crawl!!!

I agree with that Papa Petrelli is a lying liar who lies.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

why didn't Papa Petrelli just take his powers away?

Because a kid's power hasn't manifested yet? Maybe he can't take them until the person can actually start using them?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Also, wouldn't Papa Petrelli then been in danger of exploding? Transferring the splody powers from one person to another doesn't really solve the problem.

t /haven't seen the ep yet so possibly talking out of my ass

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Back then at most he would have gotten the watchmaker understanding power from Sylar, if even that was possible. The latter couldn't explode until he killed Ted.

Unfortunately, now Papa Patrelli has Ted's Fat Man & Little Boy power thanks to Peter.

I am with Sail. Sylar's power didn't manifest until he was an adult, so there would have been nothing to do until the powers actually showed up. Of course, please note that the taking of Peter's powers conveniently gets rid of his "needing to see how things work" power.
