Peter already got all Sylar's powers when they were in Texas.

You are right. Melt appliances and superhearing won't have a lot application in the immediate fight. Still I'm pretty sure Peter lives, and maybe even beats Sylar. Probably at least rescues Mohinder too.

t On edit.

He also has Hiro's timestop. If had fully mastered his powers Sylar would be toast. Since he hasn't the writers can have whatever outcome they want for the fight - probably Mohinder, Peter and Sylar all surviving.

Yeah, I think Mohinder will survive. I'm basing this entirely on the fact that he's not dead yet.

Sylar killed Charlie before going to Odessa for Claire, right? So both our multitalented boys have Charlie's memory-learning thing. I'd like to see that being significant, somehow. Probably not during this particular fight, though.

Peter already got all Sylar's powers when they were in Texas. Except the ones Sylar has gotten since: the melty thing and the hearing.

Does Peter get powers that aren't being used? Because I would think from Texas, he would have just gotten the telekinesis, and I think that's the only power of Sylar's that he's used (although I'm not sure what other powers Sylar has at this point; I'm pretty sure he didn't get Eve's pushing ability).

Though it's not likely, how funny would it be if Peter went invisible and stayed that way when he died, so Sylar can't "read" his brain even if he gets it out.

He also has Hiro's timestop.

Which, if he could control, he could have also saved Simone. Oh, teh angst.

The invisible brain is a funny idea.

I've kind of been figuring that Peter gets the power whether it is being used or not, but he only knows about the ones he sees being actively used, so those are the only ones he practices and masters. In a desperate situation, he might be able to pull something out that he didn't know he had.

Let's see, Sylar's powers:

  • Telekinesis
  • Super hearing
  • That melty thing
  • Remembering/learning stuff
  • wasn't one of his victims frozen in some unlikely way?

Peter's powers should include:

  • Flying
  • Invisibility
  • Painting/drawing the future
  • Regeneration
  • Time control (unless future!Hiro being from the future complicates the power transfer in some way)
  • Hearing thoughts (unless the feedback loop interfered)
  • Telekinesis

I'm sure I'm missing some.

Has Peter met The Haitian?

I'm pretty sure he lost that power when his hair got cut.

What if the emo bang was his power centre?

The phrase "emo bang" makes me think of "interrobang."

Interpret as you will.

I think that "Interrobang" would be a good name for an Emo Superhero. You know, with a "!?" on his chest.
