In other pov's, that was a really really sweet death scene with full-on comic-book stylings. Jack Coleman and the show should be proud.

As to whether or not Noah was really dead...I think he was dead dead deadski, but...my uncle was shot in the head and lost an eye and he's still kicking. With no massive brain damage, either. So it's entirely possible.
