As to whether or not Noah was really dead...I think he was dead dead deadski, but...my uncle was shot in the head and lost an eye and he's still kicking. With no massive brain damage, either. So it's entirely possible.
I'm in the deadski camp for Noah. Based on the fact that they gave him those cloudy cataracts on his eye(s).
