I feel that replicating other powers is something Peter "does" while healing is something Adam "is". Therefore, take the blood out of Peter and it's no longer part of his power whereas Adam's blood is part of him.

Yes, you're absolutely correct (and no, AFAIK, no medications for it except in treatment of symptoms). It just seems to me that if Peter can "heal" brain issues like loss of memory, he should also be able to heal mental trauma. t shrug Maybe not. Just my take on it.

There's some controversy about the validity of Dissosciative Identity Disorder, but statistics on the reported cases indicate 97 to 98 percent of them occur in people who were abused as children. If it exists at all (and I'm inclined to think it does, as someone I know was once diagnosed with it and definitely presented more than one apparent personality), it's a psychological process in response to trauma rather than a physical alteration of brain chemistry or function. Mrs. Bennet's reaction to the Haitian's tampering imples that there's some element of the latter in what he does, which Peter's regeneration power might more reasonably repair.

What I don't get is how the Company would go about "curing" Nikki. DID takes years of intensive therapy to integrate the alter egos into one core personality, you can't just give someone lithium and make them better. I guess the Haitian could have erased every memory specific to Jessica, but it seems that would leave Nikki hugely traumatized rather than functional.

Here's the thing: we really don't know what Niki's power is. Is it only super strength or are the multiple personalities part of her power?
