That seemed more of a rehash to me. There are other major cities that they could have landed in.
Actually, it really couldn't have been. Peter specifically wanted to know who he was and what the future held -- which took him to the future of his home city.

I like that Tim Kring listens to the fans, but I don't want him to listen too much. If I'd had my druthers, Matt would've bought the big one at the end of last season and now I looooove me some Matt Parkman. I'm happy if these changes are due to the writers feeling like things were going a little bit off the rails, but as the Piano Man says, don't go changing to try and please me.
