Heroes 1: We Could Be Heroes
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the show and ancillary materials such as web comics! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. Chuffa, Chuffa!
Well, either he hitched a ride somewhere, or regenerating makes you sort of immortal...ish? Something? No idea.
Yeah, I was assuming the whole regenerating thing meant that he's like the Energizer bunny . . . or, you know, Wolverine. Take your pick.
That was the best episode ever!
Now, if we can get screencaps of shirtless wet Peter Petrelli to ita. . .
So, is Adam Takezo Kensei Elle's father AND Peter and Nathan's father?
Oh, show. You are finally back. Thank Dog for sweeps.
How many people think they're really going to pack ALL the what-happened-after-the-bomb story AND stuff with Adam!Kensei and who-knows-what-else into one hour next week?
(...And if they do, why have we been wasting all this time this season?)
Yeah, I agree that regeneration makes you immortal. Up to a point aging is growth and development, and regeneration does not stop it. Past that point aging is damage and regeneration fixes it, just like it fixes any kind of damage. A bit of a wank, but not much of one.
Anyone want to take bets that Elle's father's name is Adam?
This was my immediate thought: "But Elle doesn't look half-Japanese."
It took me far too long to see my error.
So, is Adam Takezo Kensei Elle's father AND Peter and Nathan's father?
Why would he be Peter and Nathan's father?
Some of us think that the dark secret in the Petrelli family is that Papa Petrelli isn't really dead.

While I don't discount that, I think him turning out to be Adam goes past "Holy shit!" into "You gotta be fucking kidding me!" territory (aka JJ-land). Papa didn't "die" that long ago IIRC, and I think Nathan and Peter would have noticed their dad not getting any older.
