We don't know how much the Haitian can nullify. Parkman's powers were pretty rudimentary compared to what his dad can do... and from a distance as well if Molly's anything to judge by.
I find myself hoping that West gets distracted by showing off to Claire and fails to notice the albatross he's headed towards at 80mph.
The bit about the kiss "breaking history" might be the ultimate cause of whatever is endangering the world; this would not stop any of the things people are speculating about being the proximate cause.
I don't think the kiss has broken history. If it had, the sword with Hiro's post-kiss message couldn't have made it to Ando in our timeline.
Hate West. And not in a love-to-hate way. He's a "bad boy" without being fun.

Perhaps. Until given more information, I hold with the Thursday Next novels, where overall, time is more durable than most people think. Which is to say, if time can figure out a way to not change something very much after a time traveler interferes, it will.
Also? Hiro's an unreliable narrator.
HRG and The Haitian Sensation
What? Now you're channelling Casey Kasem?

... and now, playing their number one hit, it's HRG and The Haitian Sensation with "I'm Gonna Wipe Your Treasured Memories (Then Kill You Anyway.)" It's got a great beat and you can dance to it.
Meanwhile, the Peacock has also given the hook to "Heroes: Origins," a previously announced six-episode spin-off of Tim Kring's popular drama featuring one-off tales about new characters in the show's universe. It's understood the project has been shelved indefinitely due to financial concerns as the network readies for the expected WGA strike. Kevin Smith, Eli Roth, Michael Dougherty and John August were among the names set to be involved with "Origins," which was still in the early stages of pre-production.
I suspect that the possible WGA strike will next be blamed for global warming.
victor, would that be "number one with a bullet"?
Very bummed by the news about "Origins". Although, they are adding heroes at quite a clip on the show anyway. We still have this Adam Monroe character to look forward to.
ION, with a little distance, I'm liking Monday's episode more than I did (although I'm still not crazy about it). I didn't even pick up on the echoes from Five Years Gone in Mo's storyline. He balked at injecting someone with a virus then, too (although that time it would've killed someone). I wonder if that virus is just a more lethal strain of whatever Mo's been using to cure folks now and/or whatever cocktail Tobby had cooked up to try to use on Monica? I'm kind of looking forward to next week, too, even though my first reaction was, "Destroy NY again?" I guess it's really more like the whole world (or at least the US), so that's ok. And the last future episode they did kicked serious amounts of ass. I'm optimistic.
