Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

Art Crawl!!!

And why doesn't somebody just suggest that they google his name?

Maybe modify to say USA or New York (if that was the origin of the flight.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And why doesn't somebody just suggest that they google his name?

Are you suggesting they have Google in Ireland? Crazy talk.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

And why doesn't somebody just suggest that they google his name?

Which they probably would or will. But that's not what Peter was looking for. Peter was hoping for an instant emotional connection with the information in the box. Which was an unreasonable hope, but kind of understandable. He knows his name, but that means nothing to him right now. And now they have another mystery in front of them, and it allows Peter to avoid finding out more about who he is (or at least, not go directly looking for that information.) Because he has a deep-seated fear of uncovering his past. Something happened (The explosion? What came after? The Nightmare Man?) and all he knows is that he desperately doesn't want to face it again.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I finally watched the show last night, but oddly I have nothing to add to the conversation except that Mohinder will always be A TOOL, and I am IN LOVE with Nathan this season. How the hell did that happen?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Mohinder can't help that he's a box of hair. If eleven year old Molly was not in a coma, she could have provided the common sense both Mohinder and Matt lack.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

One thing that cracks me up is Molly wearing makeup that is WAY too mature and trashy for her. You know a little girl in a My Two Dads situation would completely be able to take advantage in that way—it would be a "girly thing" that neither of them knows about or is comfortable setting limits for.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Bwah! I adore the My Two Dads thing so much. It almost makes up for Mohinder being a box of hair (and how!). But at least he's consistent!

I love Hiro and enjoy Japanese adventure stories, which is what Hiro is guiding Kensei through.

{insert boilerplate furious-at-white-Kensei text here} Because otherwise I would enjoy the story. But I don't.

That said!

I am enjoying the Generations aspects of this season very much. It's kind of analogous to growing up in general. At puberty, discovering all these weird new attributes about yourself and about life in general. Thinking it's all about you and it's crazy and scary. Then finding out that your friends are going through it too, and bonding over the fear and excitement. It's not until later that you slowly get an understanding that your parents are people too and they went through all this before you. And, you know, maybe you should talk to them about it. Right now the two (three?) sets of heroes are so independent, but I think they will need each other more and more.

I also like the idea of seeing the repetition of powers, and powers amplified and expanded, like the parental relationship with Matt. Seeing limitations of powers, and what that means to vulnerability.

Although the generational power amplification thing doesn't seem to apply to the youngest generation of heroes. Flying & Fire = Healing? Walking through walls & Superstrength = Mechanical manipulation? We still don't know Hiro's dad's power, do we?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Is Kensei a real myth?

(hee. a real myth)
