I think it's similar, but instead of facts, she picks up muscle memory or an instinctive knowledge of how to do things. For example, she flowered that tomato without seeming to think about it.

Just a little joke (apparently not very funny) cause I said it looked like Lost's island last week. But seriously, how did he make it to the Mexican badlands becuase that forest did not look like Ole Mexico. And wasn't he all gutted from the skewer in the belly? Doubled over and couldn't hardly move? Now he's fine and it had only been two days according to poor, dead New Jersey dude? That's a far piece for someone who just had eight surgeries. He wasn't even limping anymore.

Yes, this! I was trying to figure out who she reminded me of, but I could barely concentrate with all the bad accents flying around. I want to like this storyline, but seriously y'all, the accents. They are bad!

Oh, cool reveal with Nightmare Guy being Matt's dad and one of the Twelve. Interesting that we couldn't really see Papa Petrelli's face in the photo very well -- I think he was turned away from the camera, and also kind of blurry -- so he's still basically an unknown quantity.

It sounded like Nikki told her about it so she could keep an eye on him and keep him safe. I wondered if Nikki knew about the girl's power, but then it seemed like she was just discovering it for the first time herself.

Augh, Claire, that boy is NOT worth it! I got all excited when I thought she was gonna dump his ass. Sadly, though, I can totally understand why she's falling (so to speak) for him. It makes me sad that both she and her dad are lying to each other, but I really loved their scene together when she came home from her date. It's just so plain, how much he loves her and wants more than anything to protect her.

I don't remember what Nikki's dad's name was, but it's not the same actor. The guy who played Nikki's dad is an actor I recognized from L.A. Confidential -- I don't know the guy in the picture.

I liked Monica. Her ability is wicked cool and I dig that it is a twist on Charlie's. And when little Micah held her and we focus on his hand, and later on he tells her that he was trying to fix her dreams, I got all misty because I'm apparently a giant sap. Aw, Micah.

Poor Matt. But you have to say, it was an awesome reveal. I can't wait to see where that goes!

I did not miss Peter or Hiro at all. Good ep, much better than the last one.

I missed Peter because of the pretty and the shirtless and I missed Hiro because he is fun (even though the story itself is kinda blah) and Kensei is snarky fun.

I do think this has been the best ep so far. But then again, I've liked the season so far. (I gather some folks have been disappointed, but not this girl. Nuh-uh)
