I suspect that Kensei's powers might make him immune to infectious diseases of any sort. And Claire's as well.
This is interesting, Matt, because I've wondered if Claire's power, and I guess Kensei's now, means that they can never get sick. I mean, can they not even catch a cold? Never get cancer, say? Or is it just that they're kinda . . . unbreakable?
Now I'm having weird images of a wrinkly, 99 year old, death proof Claire just snipping off her fingers and watching them grow back all young and wrinkle free. Eeewww.
