"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oh, noes, it's another one of Nathan's bastage children flying around, sending incest vibes to Claire (she seems to attract them, huh?)

I'm with Matt. There's no reason to believe that because they can both fly, they are related. Not yet anyway.

I love Claire and Mr. Bennett both lying about not sticking out. Mr. Bennett can no more be Assistant Manager at a paper company than Claire can be non-descript high school student.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Also I couldn't tell who's scarred face Nathan saw in the mirror, his own or his brother's. I thought it was his own. It confused me.

Me too. Made me wonder if he was remembering or if it was real and he developed the ability to project a different image.

Peter has lost his cowlick and traded place with Jack Bauer.

Ha! Yet somehow, Nathan got the beard.

Until the end, I thought that kid might actually be Peter watching over Claire from deep cover, having picked up chameleon powers along the way.

And another me too!

There was an eclipse shortly after Hiro landed and we've been led to believe that's when powers manifest.

That may be the case for Peter and Hiro, but I'm not so sure about the rest of them. Sylar was certainly killing before then. I think Nikki killed DL's gang before then, and Nathan's flying escape from the car crash had to have been sooner. Not that a previous eclipse couldn't be credited but I have a hard time gelling that with the genetics part of the story.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Oh right, Bob the Haitian! I knew I was forgetting someone.

It's funny to me that at the end of last season, I was so sure that both Nathan and Peter were dead (because, what was the point of that melodramatic scene if neither of them died?), and yet I'm totally unsurprised to see them both in the show again. I mean, they've both been doing press for the show practically nonstop, so I've known for a while they'd both be back, but it seems strange that nobody connected with the show tried to keep that a secret at all.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I have a suspicion that DL is dead. We didn't see him at all during the ep, did we?

The camera work in that scene was hilarious.

Well we didn't see Nikki or Mica either. But I also have the suspicion because of his lack of face time in any promo teasers or pics that i've seen. (spoilerfont to be safe due to discussing promos.)

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Also, was Mrs. Bennet mindwiped again, or is she just pretending? I'm hoping she's really in on the whole plan.

I don't think she was mindwiped. For one thing, the nameless Haitian isn't around -- he faded into the woodwork before the shootout at Kirby Plaza, and I'd suspect keeping a cover identity would be hard if she didn't remember why she was doing it.

Besides, I loved her in that scene. The silliness of how hard it was for Mr. Muggles to not be able to shine when he's such a star was obviously aimed at Claire and HRG -- a not so thinly veiled attempt to get them to talk about it, because she knows it must suck for them. Love, love, love her.

Also, it's totally obvious -- Mr. Muggles killed Kaito.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Can I just say AGAIN how much I loved HRG kicking the manager's ass with ONE FINGER.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I have a suspicion that DL is dead. We didn't see him at all during the ep, did we?

No, but Leonard Roberts was at the Emmys. That's a good sign, right?
