"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Stopping a recognition-hungry serial killer who can generate nuclear-level explosions in a population center and survive to do it again strikes me as more of a world-saving thing.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good point. I like that better.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

also, saving New York = saving the world from being manipulated by Linderman's little plans. that's gotta be a good thing.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I think that they should have spent less on the CGI of Sylar creating the Kirby Plaza painting (cool, but unecessary, would have been more effective with Issac) and more on the fight.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

Sorry if I'm jumping into this thread without checking each and every message. Why didn't Peter fly himself away from the city? Because Nathan wouldn't have had his Big Moment if he had?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Peter was overloading on Ted's power and couldn't control his own powers.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Mikey, that's the official explanation from Kring, yes, with the meta being "Because we wanted Nathan to save the day!"

I just made a deal with amyth that I'll watch Profit if she'll watch Heroes. We've added it to our list of summer projects.

I'm thinking this is a total win/win.

I just got my Profit DVDs. I will be watching them after I'm done with Life on Mars.

Oh, it's total win/win, smonster. I just finished with Profit via Netflix a couple weeks ago.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

I also read somewhere else (though I'm sure someone here will come along and prove me wrong shortly) that we've never actually seen Peter use two powers at once. So maybe he can only use one at a time and since he had Ted's turned on, he couldn't fly away.
