Didn't Peter fly invisibly at one point? Though Nathan's was the first power he mimicked, and he seemed to have better control of it than most.

I'm betting on the concentration required to hold back the explosion knocking out his control of all his other powers.

edit: and the x-posting continues.

It's so nice to have a show that can make me cry.

I meant to say - couldn't agree more.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

yeah, he was freaking out. I agree that someone should have shot him to stop him. that would have saved them both.

And I totally agree that someone in that crowd of survivors should have had the sense to make sure that Sylar was really, most sincerely dead.

When Peter and Claude were ambushed by Bennet and the Haitian, didn't Peter fly while invisible?

Good call, DX and Matt. I sure as heck didn't remember that.

I wonder if the Haitian might be the "boogeyman" Molly is talking about. He's seemed aware of other people's psychic powers and able to block them, and his early description of his own power's nature was grotesque enough to maybe bethe source of Molly's fear.

Matt, I had that same thought. I was also wondering why he hasn't shown himself in the last few episodes (and even then, he was missing for a few before the 5 Years Later ep which doesn't really count as him, at least in terms of the current scenario). He certainly has a spooky vibe, but I never got a "way worse than Sylar malevolence" off of him.

We have a couple of Heroes unaccounted for: Claude, the Haitian, anybody else?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

or maybe he has powers that are much worse, but they only know of his dampening powers.

Yeah, I assumed immediately that the Hatian was the one who scared Molly...

And I don't see why Peter couldn't survive...though Nathan seems a goner, really...

Besides, if she'd shot Peter in a non-fatal (for him) place, it might have put him out long enough for him to calm down. Then maybe with enough time he could have learned to control it.

I don't think this will work because remember in Company Man when Ted went nuclear in the Bennet's house? it was a non-fatal gunshot wound that set him off. i think a non-fatal gunshot wound would have made it worse for Peter too.

How come Peter could pick up Niki's power five seconds after he met her, but he couldn't fly himself away?

i'm fanwanking this as he was too consumed by Ted's powers to use any of his others at that moment.

I'm trying to remember if we've ever seen Peter use more than one power at a time. Could he if he even wanted to?

this is also a good point. i don't think we have seen him use more than one power at a time.

this was a great episode. i want next season to start right now! also? Peter's definitely still alive? Nathan? not so much. Sylar? still fucking hot, but should be oh so dead. what the hell people?! make sure the villain is dead before you traipse off!
