Sylar was the only one I was hoping to lose. I'm glad D.L. and Matt seem to have survived. But, what of Mama Petrelli? Claire's all she has now and she's going back to Texas.

I had the cc on but the show always captions the Japanese in yellow, as well. That wouldn't show up well on a light tv.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.
There was nothing about that ending that wasn't awesome.
Peter = alive. Not a doubt in my mind.
Nathan = Schroedinger's Congressman. I can see ways to write through that.
D.L. = ALIVE! YAY!
ANDO = ALIVE!!! DOUBLE YAY!!! (I was REALLY afraid he was gonna bite it.)
MATT = Uhm, looks like a goner, but since no one pronounced him dead, I'm gonna go with alive and in critical condition.
Bet we're going to see a lot of Mama Petrelli and Not!Sulu in the next season, and we still have no idea what they can actually do. Looking forward to it, and to the Big Bad Molly hinted at.

I don't see Mama Petrelli as being that attached to Claire.
I'm doubtful that Peter could actually survive that explosion, at least on the strength of Claire's recuperative abilities alone. Now if Ted's immunity to his own power was total, then maybe all he has to regenerate from is a fall at terminal velocity (~120 mph, so probably not lethal unless he lands head first).
The big cheering moments for me were all Hiro and Nikki.

Something I haven't seen mentioned is, the Mohinderlogue from the start of the episode was the same as at the start of the Pilot. The one at the end I'm not sure about...did anyone recognize it?
