From an interview with James Kyson Lee:
Do we end up finding out you have a superpower?
Lee: That's the question of the year! I get asked that so many times, and that's a great question for the show's writers. We talk about this all the time. I thought it would be funny if Ando gets a power that's just unique, but random. Like, he can make cheese out of thin air. It'll be like, "Mozzarella!"
Or he could be like a Karaoke Hawk, and when he gets mad he'd turn all blue and start singing 1980s rock songs from Journey with explosions and glass shattering, and everyone would be like, "Stop! We surrender." I mean, who knows? You never know what's going to happen with this show.

Heaven's just a funky Ando.
Maybe he's the normal one. We could call him Zeppo. Or Xando.
Or Xando.
I would totally watch the amazing adventures of Eyepatch!Ando and Future!Hiro.
I hope Ando doesn't turn out to have any powers. He rocks more than sufficiently without them.
A friend of mine maintains that one characteristic of well-written superhero stories is that non-powered characters
matter
and have 'agency' in the plot.
By and large, this show passes that test with flying colors, so far.
Anyone who has an ep (or season) to catch up with - Sci-Fi is showing a Heroes marathon today. But, I'm not so sure about order... they're already at the Peter/Claire/Sylar showdown at the high school and that seems pretty far along for 9a E. Anyway... yay, show!
The order is completely weird, and they're skipping episode 8.
From the schedule on my tv it looks like it starts at 9EDT with Homecoming (#9) and goes in order through Landslide (#22), then shows the first one instead of the last.
