shrift, have you had any Chicago-style thin crust since you've arrived here?

Oh yeah. It's good stuff. Although I try not to order it very often, because I've been trying to choose healthier food options.

Good thing I think vegetables are tasty.

except no US companies have DHL accounts

Awww that's not totally true, we have a ton of domestic business but we are way better at getting stuff across the ocean than we are at getting stuff across town (sad but true!) /18 year DHL employee... ignore the fact that I'm posting from work!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, I heard that DHL sucks because everyone who works there spends all day screwing around on the internet.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh, and Connie, I saw this over at the Wikipedia page for Chicago pizza, specifically the section on thin crust:

This style of pizza is now spreading due to the expansion of Aurelio's Pizza a Chicago chain, into Florida, Colorado and a few other states. Additionally, Sweet Home Chicago Pizzeria now sells the authentic Chicago-style thin-crust pizza in the Salt Lake City, Utah, market, as well as Rush Street Neighborhood Grill in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Awesome exchange there....

Why do I decide at noon to start work on something that there's no way will be done by quitting time? I mean, I can totally leave it hanging, but come Monday it will take forever to figure out exactly where I was and what in the hell I was thinking.

I'm having tea after work with hot french/moroccan boy next week.

Yay. & Oh go have interesting conversation!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Awww that's not totally true, we have a ton of domestic business

Hee! I should have said, none of my US clients have DHL accounts. (As opposed to all of our UK production houses, which are constantly asking if they can use DHL, since the cutoff time to send a package overnight from the UK via Fedex is ridiculously early. UPS is later, but they're constantly losing things, so not very helpful.)
