Hey, I heard that DHL sucks because everyone who works there spends all day screwing around on the internet
It's TRUE! Heeeee

Oh, and Connie, I saw this over at the Wikipedia page for Chicago pizza, specifically the section on thin crust:
This style of pizza is now spreading due to the expansion of Aurelio's Pizza a Chicago chain, into Florida, Colorado and a few other states. Additionally, Sweet Home Chicago Pizzeria now sells the authentic Chicago-style thin-crust pizza in the Salt Lake City, Utah, market, as well as Rush Street Neighborhood Grill in Kingsport, Tennessee.
HA!
Last day before my vacation.
Tick... tick.... tick.....
Hopes Scola's day goes quickly and smoothly
Adds hope for own day as well
Awesome exchange there....
Why do I decide at noon to start work on something that there's no way will be done by quitting time? I mean, I can totally leave it hanging, but come Monday it will take forever to figure out exactly where I was and what in the hell I was thinking.
I'm having tea after work with hot french/moroccan boy next week.
Yay. & Oh go have interesting conversation!
Awww that's not totally true, we have a ton of domestic business
Hee! I should have said, none of my US clients have DHL accounts. (As opposed to all of our UK production houses, which are constantly asking if they can use DHL, since the cutoff time to send a package overnight from the UK via Fedex is ridiculously early. UPS is later, but they're constantly losing things, so not very helpful.)

I wonder if it's in the average-folk areas or over in the froofy "please, tourists, come over here and mingle with the rich folk" areas.
Aww. This is the last day *of* my vacation. Technically. Although there's the weekend, still. Although I'm teaching tomorrow. Although I'm only teaching one student.
Okay, I still have plenty of vacation.
If this were a livejournal post, I'd use my coffee icon, because I am having the best cup of kona coffee, the loss of which is the worst bit about my parents moving back from Hawaii to the mainland.
The SO totally let me sleep in this morning, for which I will be eternally grateful. And I didn't even stay up unbelievably late last night so I actually feel rested. Today is his birthday dinner even though yesterday was his birthday. But we dunno if anyone will show up because we've got a friend who is deathly ill, and lots of our mutual friends are helping take care of her/praying for her tonight.
Anyway, I still have nothing else pressing to do all day, and then I get to put on my pretty new stripey dress and go out. Even though it's snowy and rainy and dreary out, I am still pretty relaxed.
eta: Mmm, Chicago pizza. And also, mmm, tea with hot spicy brain dude!
I don't understand why we have to wait so long for Summer Fridays. It should totally be Spring Fridays.
