And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Thanks everybody!! It's actually not a bad birthday for me--amazing what a little self-improvement will do for one's morale.

Oh, and I think (although I could be wrong) that I have a Buffista birthday twin--Tom Scola, isn't it your birthday, too?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Happy birthday to the ever-enshrinkening Kathy!

Happy Birthday and Congratulations, Kathy!

My co-workers need to learn to give me a few minutes first thing in the morning before slamming me with multiple tasks & requests for stuff. I sent the wrong document out to my supervisor just now, looking like a loon in the process.

Matt, so totally true. And it's one of the things I hate most about the getting laid off/find a new job process (my sitch). My colleagues and I were talking about this yesterday; it takes a long time to develop excellent working relationships with people--getting to know their quirks and strengths and the right times and ways to approach them, etc. Hope you're able to de-loon yourself easily.

I'm 37 and this is what it looks like. People are so dumb. Everyone looks like themselves no matter what age they are. I may just be slightly bitter that I am finally at the age when people act shocked when you say it out loud. I hate that reaction and its implied "wow, you're getting old...."

Coding and Sleeping

Is the java in your name referring to a hot beverage or platform independent code?
