"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hee. Okay, I probably don't love it as much as Emmett.

He loves it a lot. He's already read his complete set from one end to the other and started again.

eta: Err, don't look at me about the Rand.

::looks at Liese about the Rand. A hard suspicious look::

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Agave oatmeal bread is in its first proofing.

You can't respect a methodical approach and make three changes to the recipe all at once, but we shall see.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It wasn't me. I swear! I mean, I'm pretty sure.

Mmm, ita, that sounds wonderful. Today's experiemental bread for me was supposed to be a yogurt cornbread. But I slacked. Maybe tomorrow.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Who the hell's been slipping him Ayn Rand when I wasn't looking?

He's been watching Oprah and/or reading The Secret!

My future childrearing strategy will include Dash Their Dreams Early and You Are Not Special. But I guess I will leave the imaginary friends alone.

Mine would have too. With a side helping of "No, it really is *my* house."

You've got to take the long term view.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Does anyone remember the scene in Max Headroom when Edison Carter wakes up in Theora Jones' bedroom completely covered in a thousand teddy bears of all shapes & sizes? I loved that scene.

Oh, yeah. Man, it's a good thing I wasn't older and that internet fandom wasn't around with me in it back then.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Here's hoping things progress again for you soon, Tom.

What does it say to me that I found the "final" Calvin & Hobbes cartoon much sadder than the Robot Chicken claymation?

What is even happening?

With a side helping of "No, it really is *my* house."
That's the main course. If I'm feeling sweet, it comes after, "It is your home also, but..."

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lots of only a little delayed -ma and cheerleading, Tom.

ION, I'm in Portland, or at least near there. YAY. Cass, as always, rocks, except she made me buy stuff I don't need.
