Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
I've mentioned this before, but the farm's been in the family for three generations... I'll be sad when it's sold....
Aw, I will soon be in the same situation, and I expect to cry and cry. I miss the farmhouse where I grew up way more than I miss the people I grew up with. I never want to go back after it's sold, though. It would break my heart if someone changed it too much.
The last thing that made me smile was realizing that my boss was not coming in to work today. I think I'm starting to hate my job, and that's really gonna fuck up my life plans. Such as they are.

Last thing that made me smile was Matilda smiling at me this morning.
She always wakes up in such a good mood and when she first spies you, she greets you with a huge, "Hey! It's you! That person I like! I am so freakin' happy to see you and grab your lip! You are the best and you make me so happy."
Of course, twenty minutes later she's eating your thumb, spreading spittle and hollering because her angle of repose is off by a quarter degree.
But her happy smiles of greeting are insanely addictive.

go you Kathy! and I am with Steph and everyone else . Diets often fail do the forbidden nature of this or that. To really succede you need a whole new relationship with foor - and the major concept we have to get rid of is using food as a reward or punishment. I will never get to the idea of food is fuel; I like/enjoy/love cooking and eating far too much . However, I have learned that sometimes it helps to remember that what I eat is fueling my body. It makes it easier to make the better choices. Eat whatever you want on your birthday, but if you want to give yourself a birthday gift - eat something that is good for you too.
