Clearly I am a time-cheater in Christopher's estimation.

We have no coffee in the house.

How can this be?!

I'm going to have to walk two whole blocks to buy buckets of latte and new beans.

I was in Guatemala some years ago a few months after DST had been instituted for the first time. People would give you both "old time" and "new time" whenever the time came up.

'Course, they soon had bigger things to worry about, when the phone company decided to change all the phone numbers in the city. All of them. In the second largest city in the country.

Quite hating on the time changes! I lurves it.

I love getting the extra hour of daylight in the evening... but I went out for breakfast this morning and it seemed way too dark and there was frost on all the cars. Moving clocks an hour forward while there's still frost on cars seems wrong.

The time change is killing me. I jsut went through two boxes of old paper stuff and threw out almost half of it. I should have thrown out more.

God, I need coffee.

I'm going to go back to sleep and see if I can get an hour of unterrified sleep before I have to leave the house.

See I don't care a whit for morning darkness. I'm either sleeping in, drinking coffee or going to work. Might as well do those things in the dark.

But evening light? Frabjous joy, that's what that is. That's time to go outside and play with Emmett. It heralds the ending of winter (or the beginning of the end of winter, anyway). It leaps ahead on the sun's rotation and brings me more light.

Less gloom, more fun. What's not to love?

On eBay, Ted Haggard Massage Table

Own a piece of Ted Haggard history from Mike Jones.

The table where it all happened.

Table is about 10 years old with a few tears but totaly usable.

Will autograph table if requested and in June an autographed book "I Had To Say Something" by Mike Jones will be sent.

All proceeds benefit 'Project Angel Heart', who provides people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses nutritious home-delivered meals.
