Yeah. I like it too. I like coercing them along the path until suddenly they realize they self-identify as musicians, and whaddya know, they have the skillz to back it up. I like knowing when to back off and when to push. I like balancing bullying and teasing and working seriously and helping and encouraging. I like it when a totally tough boy all clad in black and chains and swagger suddenly collapses in laughter at making a mistake.
Unfortunately for me, there is no jealous, because the reason we're teaching where we are is because no one else is.
But I do it 'cause I love it.
Hey, Fone Bone can phone home now!
Snowmageddon still raging outside.
Is it really supposed to be that bad? Compared to 100+ inches of lake effect snow, for instance? Cause I live in the land of Nor'easter Ground Zero, and this storm is supposed to be heading this way.
Is worried.
Does this sound right to anybody with home owning experience?
Person's house catches on fire. Insurance company says that the last payment was applied to
someone else's account
so person has not made their insurance payment. WTF!?!
yay for Jessica and Ethan

Buh?
Sounds very shady to me -- it's the insurance company's error, so they're the one's liable.
DJ, it sounds like either it would be a major-lawyer-intensive situation (say, an intermediary insurance agency had mishandled the payment) or the person is making up some reason for not having money after the fire.
Note that my house insurance gets held in escrow by my mortgage company, so it's possible that they could mispay it in some bizarre computing mishap.

Insurance company error = non-payment? If the insurance company does not back down, sounds like time to consult a lawyer.

I have no idea. We're not getting that much snow here; the high winds are causing trouble with drifting, though. When you go outside, it feels like you're being whipped with ice pellets.
