The status is NOT quo.

I'll finish the Excel spreadsheet if you'll finish reading and commenting on the 120+ essays in front of me, which are devouring me from below and above and somewhere in the middle...?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I wish this was possible in real life.

Oh, to be able to wrap a Somebody Else's Problem field around her so that nobody would pay any attention at all...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

if you'll finish reading and commenting on the 120+ essays in front of me

Just write "Good!" and "?" at random places in the essays. Give everyone a B. If anyone complains, raise their grade to an A-.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've been sitting here, looking at the number of PTO days I have left this year and writing down how many I know I'm going to have to take if I get accepted into that MLS program, as well as days I'll need for my sister's wedding, my mom's trip out in August, and my possible trip out to NJ for Thanksgiving. I have 7 1/2 days left to play with, which isn't too bad, considering.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Deal. Except I'll write all my comments in Italian. Then they can come back to you with the WTF-ness of it all.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Oh, to be able to wrap a Somebody Else's Problem field around her so that nobody would pay any attention at all...

Any way we could get the coders working a MARCIE that works on humans and annoying dogs??

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Sadly, I think wank is my fandom these days. Not that I'm any more active about hunting it down than I am about finding new actual fandoms to follow -- but every once in a while I see my flist filling up with shit-i-didn't-say posts, and it's like, hey, looks like Fandom XYZ blew up! (So I guess I'm just in it for the meta. How lame is that?)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

When G gets home were going to the Waterson:Carthy concert. This should be interesting, since we've never even heard them before. Still, this is a family that's a part of the English folk scene.

What is even happening?

I really need to write some BtVS that's NOT drawerfic again one of these days.

Whatever happened to Sunrise. I know you were sending to SA to beta, and then...
