astolat is maybe more commonly known as shalott and IMHO she's among the rarified best of writers in any of the fandoms I read. Though currently in SPN fandom I've only seen incest-slash stories by her, so I'm not sure if they'd be your cup of tea even if superbly-written... maybe you'd enjoy checking out her work in other fandoms? She's the one who first got me into SGA fanfic, and not coincidentally into actually enjoying the show itself.
