You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

I've sent in the payoff amount for our car loan. For the first time since I took over family finances a little more than a year ago, I'm feeling like finances are doing okay. It was quite a shock when I took things over and discovered a disaster instead of things going okay like I thought. My mistake for not paying more attention.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Good job, Gud.

Not that I actually own any stock, but there was a huge drop today in the markets.

There is still a lot more credit card debt than I would like (I like zero), but at least all of it is at 0% interest.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Mr. T did the same clear-cutting at his Lake Forest (IL) home a few years back, but they didn't have an ordinance against cutting down trees that were on your own property, so he just got a lot of flak from the press and neighbors, but no fines.

City of Atlanta and DeKalb County both have pretty strict tree ordinances. You have to get a permit to cut down a tree if it's healthy and above a specific size.
