"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I swear I'm not food stalking you. Heh.

I'd like to go visit Liese and shrift. I have stuff in the kitchen, I just don't want to do anything. And I really need to get out of the house and go to the grocery store for staples (can't run out of coffee and cream!) and I'm dreading that there will be a mob scene due to the predicted "wintery mix" starting tonight. Blah.

I was sitting here wondering why I was so cold. When I turned down the heat last night? I turned it down to 58. Brrr.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

A) I had very productiveness filled plans for the day

B) I went back to bed after I shot up Ozzie.

C) A and B turn out to be unmixy things.

D) Oh well. At least I started my laundry and made coffee.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

At least I started my laundry and made coffee.

This is no small accomplishment.

Edited to add: My 9:30 lesson showed up sometime after 10:00. I dunno exactly when, 'cause I had another lesson! So I had to take him at 10:30. I now believe I have the right to blame any subsequent lack of productivity on that lost half hour.

That's what I thought, Liese.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Kathy, I love hearing your progress. For me, I have to be obssesive for a while, that sort of gives me tjhe ablity to stick to things long term.

ION, Matt is at soon-to-be-ex job today. now, to be fair, this is something that could happen at new job . ( torjan lose in the servers) . But if it happened at the new job - he'd be only ten minutes from home so I could 1) bring him a guitar or he could run home for one and 2) I could bring him lunch or hang with him for an hour

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I didn't get a chance to say before, but big congrats to DH, beth. He's deserved so much better, and having just been through this, it's nice to see someone else escape the soul suck for better things.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Right now his old co is pushing a lot of buttons- everything from 'won't you be bored' to ' look at all these people you will be leaving in the lurch' . Boredom is perhaps an real issue, but evertime he joined a company he has gone way beyond the original parameters of the job he was hired for that I suspect that he really won't be bored. OTH, part of the point of this job was to find something that would allow him to do the other things he really likes to do - a job that would leave him with more energy.

so the new job is going well, brenda?

It's going great - this was an excellent move for me. I got really lucky.

That's good to hear, Brenda.
