From bias in Wikipedia section.
Unlike most encyclopedias and news outlets, Wikipedia does not exert any centralized authority to take steps to reduce bias or provide balance; it has a "neutral point of view" policy but the policy is followed only to the extent that individual editors acting in social groups choose to follow it. For example, CNN would ensure that Crossfire had a representative of the political right and one from the political left. In contrast, Wikipedia policy allows bias to exist and worsen. For example, even though most Americans (and probably most of the world) reject the theory of evolution,[6] Wikipedia editors commenting on the topic are nearly 100% pro-evolution.[7]
From Evolution Section.
Microevolution has indeed been seen and verified, and its effects can easily be viewed in the recent trends of bacterial diseases developing resistances to antibiotics. However, microevolution, nor evolution for that matter, ever purports to claim that a dog will become a cat over time. Instead, modern science considers macroevolution, which has also been empirically observed[1], to simply be microevolution on a large scale, where many cumulative differences spawning from microevolution cause an organism to branch off into two distinct cousin species.
It was a stronger endorsement, but the article changed while I was making the post.
Allyson, I mentioned your book to two krav instructors--one's a TV producer, and the other one's in the biz too, but I forget how. Neither of them have a clue about fandom, but the producer (who's auditioned Colin) had some vague idea I counted TV as a hobby.
Then she asked why I wasn't looking for work in the field. I told her I much preferred backseat driving to putting my money where my mouth is.
Oh, and she thinks the casting of Fillion over Sergei is a good move. I think she'd seen the original pilot.
Oh, I am getting so into American Idol. I now know why this show gets thrice weekly Super Bowl ratings. Tonight had some real performances, and the banter is so weird but entertaining! Lakisha though:
fucking wow. I can't believe I loved her more than Melinda and Sabrina Sloan and Stephanie Edwards. Another league indeed. Also so happy about the destruction of that awful Jersey girl.
I have to share this vid. Laga sent it to me to cheer me up this morning, and it's hysterical: stabbing at (Princess) Leia's birthday.
Without even intending to, I kind of watched that too, bon. And had exactly the same reactions. Though I also liked
the girl with the red-dyed hair. And the one with the really big head.
stabbing at (Princess) Leia's birthday.
Heh. Funny and very well done.
I liked
Gina Glocksen too-- she seems like someone I know, you know? And she had a good performance. But it's hard to remember that in the shadow of LAKISHA.
I don't know which one
big head is though.
Crappy photoshopping. Sorry. I found pics of red hot mechanics, but they were all going down on each other in front of cars.
So I went with Mulder. Thanks, Provocateuse.

Dear tailgating asshole,
In the future, I would suggest that when you decide you want to play chicken or follow another car with your migraine-inducing brights positioned 15 feet behind its rear bumper, you choose as play partner someone who's not driving an extremely sturdy rental car with airbags and a zero $ deductible. Trust me, your life will be much less stressful.
Thanks ever so,
Matt the Bruins fan
PS: Nice reflexes. But I think you're going to want to throw those shorts away.
