I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Unsurprisingly, there's some QI up on YouTube. [link]

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I'm going to be so sad when I run out of QI.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I only have five or so episodes left. About the same amount of Jonathan Creek I have left.

I probably shouldn't watch more QI until I write one of those things I ought to be writing, anyway.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've given up meat, bread, and booze for Lent.

When is Lent over?

Shit I didn't say: I come in at 10:00. 10:00. Not 9:00, and sure as hell not 8:25, when you called the first time. I've told you this before, my voice mail tells you the same thing, and it's on the fucking directory. If I'm not here, it doesn't matter how many times you call or email me to tell me it's a rush, because I'm not here.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Shit I need to say today:

Before, you told me that your direct can run her area however she likes - you won't interfere. Today, you get snippy with me because she told me to include her on any meetings you have with her directs. I got spoken to before when I was too much of a gatekeeper, and now I'm too flexible. I am confused, and you're making me feel like shit.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I love that we're all WTF? about the Freezing Fog Advisory. Wierdness.

All she wants is a diet Coke. Just one diet Coke. And they wouldn't give it to her.

Hee. I quoted that song a couple of days ago. I don't think anyone got it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We bitched about the loss of monthly donuts, but not least of all beacuse the company stated that it was for our health. There was also bitching about the variety of teas available, but mostly because it was unequitable across the many buildings we were housed in--the higher the average pay, the more kinds of teas available.

As perqs go, I'm more likely to slaver over more vacation days per year, or more stats, but those are expensive. More expensive than raspberry tea.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I think ultimately, we complain about whatever. It's kinda just there, you know?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There's this certain air molecule two feet in front of me (and a little to the right) that just sucks!!!
