Bush compares war on terror to U.S. revolution
Anyone keeping track? The war on terror is like WWII, the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. It is, however,
not
like the Vietnam war.
Wait, or is the War on Terror
not
like the Civil War?
I need a scorecard.
Wait, or is the War on Terror not like the Civil War?
It's like the Civil War, except for the part that what's happening among the factions of Iraquis is NOT a civil war.
Oh, and we've always been at war with Eastasia.
I think Bush should compare the war on terror to Britney shaving her head.
How many world leaders is Bush like? So far he's compared himself to Lincoln, Washington, FDR and Churchill. He is also the anti-Chamberlain.
Who am I forgetting? Has he compared himself to Jefferson yet? Theodore Roosevelt? Kennedy?
I think Bush should
What I think Bush should do...would probably get me a stretch in Gitmo. Probably not physically possible, either.
I think Bush should compare the war on terror to Britney shaving her head.
No matter how often you shave it, it keeps coming back. You have to keep re-shaving it every few days. But you can go a little longer between shaves if you use a razor.
No matter how often you shave it, it keeps coming back.
Not in my experience it doesn't. Or at least not enough of it.

This is
Britney's
head we're talking about.
Britney's head is more like terrorism than any other head.
If it is mostly a formal ceremony that is important to Bob, you can certainly have that in a chapel or in a Prot church. Were you raised in any particular tradition?
Not me. But I think it's symbolically important for him to have a Catholic ceremony. I dunno. He has few wants in this life, so I tend to accomodate those few he has. Although one of his mulish desires was waiting to get engaged until a year from now at least, so I can sometimes push him to reconsider irrational things.
Do all Catholic Priests require you to promise to raise the kids Catholic?
Cause I'm pretty sure that neither of my friends in the interfaith marriage would have agreed to that. Of course this was SoCal - but they were married in a ceremony jointly conducted by a Priest and a Rabbi.
