Newborn ends up in mother's pant leg: [link]
I'm sad to hear the talk about Leary. I haven't been able to enjoy an episode of Seinfeld since Michael Richards went racist-insane at that show. I always think how cute John Stamos is, and then remember stories I've heard about him, here. Sometimes, I wish I didn't know stuff.
Which makes me think it's on the order of years. At least one. I can be slow like that.
The hypothetical maple syrup is, I'd say, at least two years....

Wow, like that sketch in
Monty Python's The Meaning of Life.
I love both Hicks and Leary. I'm bothered to hear of direct material ripoff, and not just style copying.
Hell of a sneeze.
How stretchy is an umbilical cord? It'd be handy if they were the right length to not hit the ground, in a newborn bungee sort of way.
Tommy, does it look, smell, or taste funny? If not, I'd use it.

That would be sort of convenient now, wouldn't it? Pretty sure it doesn't have that much of a safety design, sadly.
Tommy, when in doubt, toss it out.
DH is running to get takeout from here. They have a thick, sweet, Kansas City type sauce which I love. Brisket, corn pudding, baked beans and green beans. And possibly, sugar cream pie.
Tommy, when in doubt, toss it out.
It's maple syrup! I, uh, am of the when in doubt, taste it again school.
ER just had a Heroes shoutout.
Some more on Hicks/Leary:

As comedian and actress Susannah Bianchi put it, "When [Bill Hicks] said, 'I hate Billy Ray Cyrus.' - he meant it. When Leary said that, it was only part of an act."[7]
The controversy surrounding plagiarism is also mentioned in American Scream: The Bill Hicks Story by Cynthia True[8]
When asked about Leary, Hicks told an interviewer: "I have a scoop for you. I stole his act. I camouflaged it with punchlines, and to really throw people off, I did it before he did."[9]
Leary was in Montreal to host the Nasty Show at Club Soda and Colleen was coordinating the talent so she was standing backstage when she heard Leary doing material that sounded incredibly similar to old Hicks riffs, including his perennial Jim Fixx joke: ("Keith Richards outlived Jim Fixx, the runner and health nut dude. The plot thickens.") When Leary came offstage, Colleen said, more stunned than angry, "Hey, you know that's Bill Hicks's material! Do you know that's his material?" Leary stood there, stared at her without saying a word, and briskly left the dressing room.
