Natter Five-O: Book 'Em, Danno.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
There are a lot of stomach flu-type things (norovirus) going around at the moment, at least in my neck of the woods, so anybody feeling funky may be suffering from that instead of salmonella.
I LOVE the biggish fluffy white doggies - Bernese Mountain Dogs, I think? So sweet. I like shepherd-type dogs. They have gorgeous mountain sheep dogs in Turkey, too.
I need to get some sheep, and a dog to watch them.
Bernese are mostly black, but very sweet. Are you thinking of Great Pyrenees, which are quite big, and fluffy and white? Either way, they'd help with the child care.
Mr. Jane was all, "You know this is scripted right?" Shut up Mr. Jane.
IT FEELS REAL. I don't remember where on my flist I read it, but someone said that it feels like watching a documentary.
From now on, whenever people ask me what my high school experience was like, I can point at FNL and say, "Like that, only with snow and cows."
Hey Jesse? Was there a reunion thingy last night or was it last week? What happened with Nate and Jenny Lee? I was babysitting last night and didn't get to watch the finale so I'll have to catch it Sunday.

The book that originated both the movie and the tv series was non-fiction. The set designers and camera men? filmographers? deserve a lot of credit. Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler were on NBC's morning show yesterday saying that they don't rehearse, so every time they start to shoot their reactions are fresh.
Matt, you haven't eaten peanut butter lately, have you?
Nope. Though that does remind me I need to throw out the jar of Jif that's so old George Washington Carver may have sealed it himself. I think I can lay blame for being sick on either the overpriced scallops or the plague carrying co-worker.
sarameg, let me know if you want me to drive this afternoon. It's not far but I know when I think something might be up with my car I want to limit my driving as much as possible. I really hope yours is okay!
Mr. Jane was all, "You know this is scripted right?" Shut up Mr. Jane.
Mr. Jane needs to hush his mouth, and I haven't even seen this week' ep.
From now on, whenever people ask me what my high school experience was like, I can point at FNL and say, "Like that, only with snow and cows."
I can say "Like that, only with snow and pot." So, yeah.
My HS experience wasn't like that, but I grew up around that. In fact, growing up around it probably made me rebel against having that as a HS experience.
"Like that, only with snow and cows."
Yeah, mine wasn't quite like that. Sports weren't nearly as huge, for one thing--adults didn't care anywhere near that much about high school sports. (Although the football players were stars, yeah.) Nor did we have any conveniently-located strip clubs, either. But the dynamics of the characters, and the dialogue?
Last night, when
Julie was fighting with her parents,
I could totally hear my niece saying that sort of thing. Just perfect.
