my dinosaur arms can still type:
DJ- I hope your dog is OK! Eek!
NoiseDesign: speaking as someone in academia (though, not in the faculty zone) it sucks, but decision making here is SO. GODDAMN. SLOW. It literally took them 6 months to decide to hire me, and I'm just a friggin secretary. Faculty positions will need to be vetted with various groups and discussed and whatnot and it's around spring break time, and.. uh.
This is probably not what you want to read, because it sucks, but I did want to mention it because what you don't want to do is think that silence=rejection. Silence really only means that the committee method is working as quickly as it can, which is really, REALLY slow.
~ma to beth's Matt.
Oz is fine. The phone is...not. The part where the charger goes is mangled, the screen is unreadable. I'm missing some buttons and the flippy part is barely hanging on.
So Oz mauled it, more than actually swallowed it? That's good, except for having a mauled cell phone. Had it been rolled in gravy or something? Silly doggie. Cell phones aren't food.
I just accidentally blocked Nora! I couldn't figure out what I did. Bring my Nora back!
Poor cell phone!
vw! That is so bizarre. . . I came in here to discover that I'd blocked David. I don't think that I had.

No. But, he also mistakes the couch for food, so.
I kinda love John Mayer.
Dogs eating mobile phones appears to be a common event.
Silly dogs.
Hah! Yep. That's about the shape of mine. Though mine may be a little worse since it's a flip. Except mine wasn't et by a dog of size. Mine was done by this [link] I swear it's like he's all mouth and stomach, but mostly mouth.
Right now he's snuggled under the covers and keeps growling fiercely everytime the cat walks across him.
