Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I always think the Bitches should write a book.

I think that's a good plan.

Damn. I took my meds an hour ago. I'm not even starting to get sleepy. And I have to be up around 5 a.m. This might be fun.

What is even happening?

Thanks, Nicole.

I just started reading the first Dresden book, and so far I'm enjoying it. Needless to say, I'm very jealous of the TBR pile you've got going.

Maybe I can catch up to you. I'm very excited. Usually, when Scott asks me what I'd like for my birthday, I can't come up with anything, but this time, I did suggest the books. I never like to be too specific, because then I won't be surprised.

What Hil said. The bakery Igot mone at had 5 flavors, so I had to get them all. Because it would be irresponsible not to know which flavors were best. And 2 of the poppy so we'd have an even number to share. So far, I like the cherry the best.

Yes. It's your duty, particularly as a newish convert. I mean, you have a lifetime of learning to catch up on.

Oh, and literally, Hamen's ears

Oh, I knew that, once upon a time. I like the ears version much better. And yes, ptui, we shall speak of him no more.

Somebody needs to rein me in. I'm listening to my happy music and getting all sorts of plot bunnies for The Office schmoop fic. Probably song schmoop fic. Bad fic at its baddest.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Happy Birthday, Cindy! Little did your mother know, 40 years ago, that her daughter was born to explicate Buffy for our entertainment and edification.

I was supposed to get some work done this weekend. Oops.

I'm getting the pig!

LEE! YAY BOOKS! (I sent your dvds back, didn't I? I hope I did. If not, I'm a jerk. If I did, well, we all know my memory is shot. *crosses fingers*)

I never like to be too specific, because then I won't be surprised.

This is why I lovelovelove Amazon wishlists. If you build one, people will go there. And buy stuff for you.

Well, she does like to note that I started talking at six months, and haven't stopped yet. 40 years ago though, she was probably in hysterics laughing, because she was in her hospital room, and heard this baby absolutely wailing, and then suddenly the wailing stopped.

When the nurse entered the room with me latched onto her cheek mum figured out what stopped the wailing.

Exactly! The actual religious stuff I can learn in classes and what not, but I really have to throw myself into internalizing, as it were, the food.

Hee, schmoopy song fic. Far be it from me to oppose that.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Jilli, do you wear sweats or jammies or the like around the house, when your cleaning or just crashing or whatever?

I usually wear long stretch velvet skirts and black baby tees with gothy things printed on them.

(looks down at self)

Yep, long black stretchy velvet skirt, black fitted tee from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. And a black stretch velvet cardigan thing. If I'm doing heavy-duty cleaning, I wear knee-length bloomers instead of a skirt.

Meep. I haven't sent yours back. (unlike you, who did).

I will, soon, I promise.

Oh, my, what a great first-day-in-the-world story!

Jilli, I think it was you telling us before that you wore bloomers to clean in that inspired me to get a pair when i saw them for sale somewhere. So thank you, because they are about the most comfortable things ever!
