Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I hope it goes well, and I can hear all about it in person!

I was thinking I wish I could take you with me, because you are all advocate-y from dealing with so much of it yourself. :-)

What is even happening?

The meds are to help you function better. Sleep also helps you function better. The doctor's prescription isn't working for you, and it is for you. If you start to get scared when you're talking to your doc, think about how much your cooter has been irritating you, and channel that for strength.

Screw the power dynamic. Damn the man. Up the Republic.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm watching this week's Gilmore Girl's and it is making my allergies act up.

Too late! All gone! How are you today, Deena?

Very tired. I've been working on a project that will make me some money if it works out, but the work toward getting paid is taking a lot out of me and I'm behind in some other things. It's been a little frustrating. I have a meeting on Monday and am supposed to have a dazzling presentation for it. I'm nowhere near there, so this weekend is going to be all about the rush and scramble.

Good luck. You're amazingly talented, so I know you'll pull it off.

You know how to bring the smiles, don't you? Thank you. That made my day.

What are you up to today?

I'm not sure. I'm sort of bored with everything and tired. I know I need to go to the market at some point. I may call thessally and see if she is up to going out today.

I had a brilliant idea last night. I think it was born of too much coffee and too little sleep. I figured out how to become a small press publisher, and thought I should send out a call for erotic short stories and poetry based on fairy tales and get it published, do it once a year, put them up on amazon, yadda yadda. It would be a big outlay at first, but it would be cool. Of course, it would be cheap if I did it as an e-book. Heck, I could actually start the next "ellora's cave", only with better book covers. It's weird to me, that I absolutely know how to do this and make it work. Scary a little too since it would mean a lot of work and some (but not a huge amount of) money I don't have right now.

I think of it now because I wanted to ask thessaly to submit a poem.
