I have good news. We're going to Hawaii in September. And DH's employer is paying for most of the trip--airfare, our hotel and meals (for me, too!). My sister will be keeping the kids so I am well and truly excited (and checking out the beach front hotel we'll probably be staying at).
Yay, Cashmere! That sounds like a wonderful break for both of you.
DJ, I went to sleep and I think I did OK for a few hours, but missed your asprin and ice pack tricks... I'll definitely keep them in mind for tonight. I called the nurse and practically burst into tears and I have an appointment for 4:20 this afternoon. Where I will insist on Diflucan. If it is indeed a
yeast infection.
Yay, vw is here! Makes me feel better already.
Sean, your dinner sounds like Teh Yum.
Oh, Cashmere! That sounds wonderful! I'd be jealous, except for the whole St. Thomas planning :).
NORA! Would you be available for lunch tomorrow?
VW! Yes, I would be! I can even meet in Central Square because I have a psych appt. at 11:30. It's a 15-minuter so I'll be able to meet you at noon. Any Central Square locations you are craving or missing?
YAY, Nora! Um...Picante, maybe? They have yummy quesadillas.
Excellent choice, I was thinking Picante myself.
Perfect! I love it when a plan comes together.
Greetings, all! It's day #3 of the new job. I don't quite feel like I know what I'm doing and I'm going to forget someone's name, but it's all good so far.
vw, already having your reading done and lunch plans with Nora sound like a fine start to a new day.
Cash, hurrah on Hawaii! Which island?
Cindy, I hope you feel better soon.
Other than that I have skipped, and I'm sorry if I missed news!
Sparky!!!!! It is so wrong that you are not on this coast anymore, but YAY new job.
Our elevator at work decided to be psycho this morning and not bring me up to the eighth floor. It just sat at the lobby level, opening and closing the doors. Security finally activated one of the other elevators so I could get to work. I think I should have taken it as a sign and gone back home.
I think I should have taken it as a sign and gone back home.
Yeah, the elevator was probably trying to warn you about some nefarious plot of the microwave....
