Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't imagine the attention to detail required to sustain such images. I'd imagine it becomes much easier with time, and the need/urge to do it takes care of a lot of the energy, but still. I'm so laissez faire. My image is taken care of by the restrictions/predilictions I have when clothes shopping. That's about it. Anything more coded only comes out when I do evening-fu.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh my, I really dig the paintings. They remind me of something that I would probably be able to articulate if I'd ever had an art history class.

And her eye makeup on the page you linked to, Zen. Stunning is right.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Zenkitty, she's stunning! Thank you for linking to her site.

Jilli, I was trying to explain you again yesterday. I have a standin cousin who is attracted by the idea of perkygoth (she can't unperk, ever, it seems) but has no real idea what it is. She seemed a little concerned about Clovis, but I think she's past it now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Zenkitty, she is beautiful! I love her eye make-up.

I went out shopping with Mom today. It was nearly 40 F today, which felt so nice and warm! I resisted the urge to buy all new Spring clothes. I did get a sheer black blouse on clearance at Ann Taylor Loft. The weekend funk is starting to lift and being replaced with craps of doom.

Today's pre-lunch entertainment?

Something arrived via IO from Jilli, and my coworkers were looking at her (pink and black) writing, and going, "Aww! She really is the perkygoth!"

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Right!?! Though I won't be able to do the running man or the roger rabbit since I hurt my back. :: pouts ::

Can you Kid 'n Play kick step? Perhaps the Wop or the Snake?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

She seemed a little concerned about Clovis, but I think she's past it now.

Everybody should be concerned about Clovis.

My quick Jilli precis: Mary Poppins' cheerfully mordant sister.

Or, maybe: Imagine an Edwardian widow with a twisted sense of humor who really enjoyed the mourning period.

Or possibly: A Gorey cartoon come to life.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I used Jilli's notepaper as an example, Plei. It really helped.

My perkygoth explanation was something like: Bats and glitter! Trim your black with pink.

My Jilli explanation: She is a luminary of it all, and her stuffed rabbit wants to take over the world.
