We had a Slings & Arrows night tonight as well! It was a fun toaster night, though--I got to introduce Laga, Sonus, and Omnis to the first two episodes. They are totally hooked.

Ahhhh.....
Dinner was delicious. I maybe overcooked the beans by thirty seconds to a minute. They didn't have the nice, crisp snap I like in blanched beans, but they were by no means soggy or gross.
The chicken and the salad came out absolutely perfect. I'm all impressed with myself and stuff. S is too. The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, and flavored just right. The salad came out exactly how I thought it would as I was constructing it in my head in the store this evening. Nice, crispy bitter from the radicchio and endive, complemented perfectly by the orange bits, tomatoes, cucumber and avocado. And it all blended marvelously with the tangy balsamic dressing.
S is positively beaming at me right now for a job well done.

Do you want to have lunch on Saturday? Send me an e-mail tonight or tomorrow; I'll be stationed near Venice Beach when we get back from San Diego, though I don't know if we'll get back before noon.
I would love to have lunch with you Saturday, but I have a 1:30 call time in Burbank, and will be at the theater all day. I have a break in between shows, but not long enough to drive all the way out to Venice and back.

Just got back from Mardi Gras. There seem to be many buffistas in need of ma and brackets. The mojo was strong with me this weekend. Consider it all yours.
I have an xtra bag full of beads, also 2 king cakes, a rug and a bowl. Tomorrow ( and gods I wish I could fly Aimee down for this) I go to PHAT Tuesday with C+C Music Factory, Rob Bass, and.. Digital Underground.
I threw out my back, and I think I'm still a little tipsy, but what a good trip. We brought Dallas people back, and Mom busted out the folder, you know the one with all your old report cards and class projects and shit? I came across this poem, I'm surprised mom didn't make me see a shrink.

I'm back! Hello ms bug. I got in late last night from the trip to see mom and all. Barely functional, but I have delivered the package to the high school and have an hour break before delivery needs to be made to middle school. I will probably let DH make that run while I head to the office. And yet there is the matter of still being in my jammies.
How are you this morning? Did you have trouble sleeping last night?
