Jessica - Kristin saw that out here and loved it. It was that show that Joe and I couldn't go see cause no sitter.
Kristin said it was beautiful.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I may, if it's okay, ask for Portland advice for her...possibly reasons to dissuade her from moving! (not really. I understand why people need to move but, still, it's hard and not right when friends move away.)Absolutely. Check with me on Friday when we never ever ever go over freezing. I'll have shiny, pretty things to say about Portland then. Also with the cursing and pleading for the orb to come back just a little.
Alternately I could try not being a smartass.
Jessica, it was amazing. One of the most beautiful dance performances I've ever seen.
Jilli & others may find this as amusing as I do.
Oh, when it comes to Seattle, I'm going. I don't know if Pete is willing to go with me, but I'm going.
The tour dates are listed here: [link]
I highly recommend it, even to people who might not normally think a dance performance would be for them. You forgot that they weren't talking. They told the story in all its tragic, funny glory.
Be forewarned that they did make some changes (with Tim Burton's blessing), but it didn't matter to me in the least. I just loved it. If I could, I would fly up to Seattle and see it again with Jilli.
Um.
Huh. Wait a second...
Fuckity Fuck Fuck.
I just got a call from a debt collector who wanted $15K immediately.
Apparently my CC company (MBNA) was taken over by Bank of America, they pulled my account from the company I've been working with through my debt management agency and gave it to someone else *yesterday*.
Yes, that's it. No letter, no warning, ignoring the fact I was paying down my debt.
And the people they got to recover said debt? Call and ask me to pay it all back and when I protest, they ask "So you have no intention of paying this debt?" as if I were a deadbeat.
WTF? No letter, no advance notice of any kind, no acknowledgment of prior agreements?
Oh Daniel, I'm so sorry. Unfortunately, that sounds exactly like many other experiences with debt collectors many of us here have had.

Ahhh, they all want it immediately. Bullying is how they work.
eta: You don't have to give it to them immediately until they take you to court, though. And even then you can often work out a settlement.

Daniel, talk to your debt management agency. They may be able to make a deal for you with the new company.
I ended up raiding a storm at them not providing me any sort of documentation, and referred them to my debt management agent.
