Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Teppy, are you lurking? I finished my five day course of Zithromax last night. I want a glass of wine, tonight. Normally, I wouldn't give this a second though, but because Zithromax stays active in the system for days 6 through 10, I don't want to screw it up. The pharmacy info sheet is unhelpful in this regard.

Is it okay to have a glass of wine with my stew?

I don't see it as "attempt to civilize a brute," I see it as, "Yes, I do clean up nice, and while I'm at home in the wilderness defending you from rampaging hordes, I won't embarass you in polite society."

I'll be in my bunk.

Because books.

Cindy, I would. I mean, I'm not Teppy, but the wine shouldn't affect the way the drug works.

I'm sorry Julia's so sick. Poor thing.

Oh guh. (And if anyone's watching Men in Trees, this is Plow Guy, I think...)

Oh guh.

Wrod. And he's grinning at you through the crowd as if remembering what you looked like in the wilderness.

Back to the bunk.

I can't even.

"Yes, I do clean up nice, and while I'm at home in the wilderness defending you from rampaging hordes, I won't embarass you in polite society."

----

Now the knights in the meadow they numbered five hundred
But midst that dense throng I saw clearly but three
The first one still carries my lance in his shoulder
The second and third lie well bitten by steel

The ladies that evening they looked on me frowning
Saying "Any wild beast can do the deeds that we've seen"
So I danced in the galliard and lilted a chanson
Now all the knights grow quite jealous of me ...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The suit and tie fetish entry was all about power--either submitting to the power of the suited, or exercising dominance over them, pretty much.

I think I just like suits. Men who were born to them, and men who would rather be in BDUs but can do this too...hell, as long as it's a good, well-fitting suit, I don't really care why they're wearing it.

What comes after kink in the ranking? It's not a fetish, less still than a kink...preference makes it seem like if I like a guy in suits I don't like one in BDUs or something.

Wait, I remember. I have a uniform thing. Including suits.

Thing. That's the word I'll use as less than a kink.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

There's a romanticism there, which is also what I was going to say about sj.

::Hugs AmyLiz for romanticism compliment::

Edit because I keep using italics to quote for some reason today.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Long, cold winters of remarkably unstable behaviour. But fun, y'know?

Yes. And then there are the short, light-all-day summers of remarkably unstable behavior and no sleeping. Which are also fun.

high fives Aimee

smooches Robin

I love being called a broad. It's such a great word.

Yes!

Relatedly, the new Quizno's commercial? Filmed on my street in front of the bars Aimee (and javachik and Suzi and Emily and Kristin and smonster and amyth and Jessica and Vortex...) and I partied in, and the guys in that are guys we've partied with.

Matilda is hella cute.

"Yes, I do clean up nice, and while I'm at home in the wilderness defending you from rampaging hordes, I won't embarass you in polite society."

Mmmmmmhmmmmmm.
