Apparantly the storm has brought the basement flooding back. And the sump pump was decidedly *not* installed at the lowest point of the floor.
GOD, THIS FUCKING DAY.
'Serenity'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Basically, Attraction is reptile-brained. It's how you act upon it that is important, I think.
I agree with this, and I don't think there is any reason to be ashamed of our reptile brain as long as we can defend our actions. TCG is pretty much my ideal physically, but I don't think that is the reason why we have stayed together. I didn't hurt with the initial attraction on my part though.
Amy, don't fret. I'm not even as smart as you.
::boggles::
You SO are. The way you can talk about theology? Also, and I know I've told you this, on that other board where we first met, your posts terrified me! I was in awe of the spiciness of your brains.
I wasn't looking for strokes, either. I just ... the idea of reading The Aenead, which I'm now certain I've misspelled, on purpose, makes me exhausted. My brain is tired, most of the time, it seems.
Those damn children.
Happy anniversary, Deena!
the boys are pretty, but my main lust is reserved for John.
I look at John and go "Huh. Thinner version of my pseudo big brother. Neat."
but the idea of him in a fistfight makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. He's a nice guy, through and through, with an ounce of the Bad Boy anywhere.
I'm just going to nod my head, because this kinda applies to Pete. He doesn't seem like what my "type" is at all, but ... he's wonderful. I wouldn't trade him for anyone.
{{{Nora}}}

Oh, Nora, ugh.
I just realized my post is supposed to say Stephen is withOUT an ouce of Bad Boy, but I'm too lazy to edit.
I don't even want to go home at ALL. Like ever again.
The asshats upstairs are the ones who are supposed to take care of the front, shared porch when it snows. I think they get a deal on their rent for doing it. So far today, they haven't, so now TCG is doing it before it turns to ice so that we can all get our mail.
Oh, Nora. I am so sorry, love.
DEENA! No more broken toes or general hurting of yourself.
My brain is tired, too. I'm fairly certain I once had a working familiarity with The Aeneid, and/or The Iliad, from my Latin classes, but it's all Greek to me, now. (Buh dah dah.)
Oh, Nora. Uck and no. I'm so sorry.
Also, despite my ideal Type, Stephen is big and fairly brawny, but the idea of him in a fistfight makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. He's a nice guy, through and through, with an ounce of the Bad Boy anywhere.
I always get a kick out of how much Scott identifies with Logan on VM. He very much roots for him. I'd always figured I'd been swayed by Jason Dohring's charms, but I don't think that's Scott's deal. He has great sympathy for the bad boy. He had his days, I guess, but I generally don't think of him as such, because he's very much (I mean this in a complimentary way) a grown up.
