Gabriel: Are you trying to destroy this family? Simon: I didn't realize it would be so easy.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You're going to eat a dog-in-a-baby?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A turducken, except with a baby inside of a dog.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, not my dinner. And, honestly, for that dog, more of an hors d'oeuvre.

Our wings are not tired.

Awww, cute doggy. My doberman was that way with the boys when they were babies. They would touch her eyes and all kinds of horrors. Seemed she had a different code when it came to babies.

I'm suffering through reading my book club book this month, as seems often the case. I wouldn't have picked it myself, and I understand that is part of the thing of being in the group. But I am a 3rd of the way through the 300 pages, and not getting better. Please someone tell me that The Glass Castle gets better soon. Lie to me.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Laura, it's fabulous! I promise when you hit page 101, it will completely change how you feel about this book.

(How's that?)

ION, I'm shivering uncontrollably, followed by bouts of burning up. My keen intellect says I have a fever. What I want to know is how in the hell am I going to drive home?

Librarian Warlord

Happy birthdays Kristin, Maria and -t!

And {{Maria}}. I hope that the drive home is easy, and that the other people on the road don't make it more difficult.

We have wireless. Tivo continues to confound us. I am hoping that if I can find the TV remote tomorrow that will somehow make a difference. Goodness knows which unpacked box it is in.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy birthday, Kristin and Maria!

Today my email is freaking the fuck out on me. And today? I have lots of things due today that are only in my email. It's ... something. I know I should eventually get over my thrall with web mail but it's nicely convenient so often. Just today is the one day it won't log in or stay logged in or show me messages. Grrr. Must get in paperwork today for four hour meeting tomorrow. Kids, this is why procrastination is bad.

(stupid plane was delayed just long enough for me to get to the gate here for my connection, and see the plane I wanted sit there for about 10 minutes (but not let me on) and then leave without me. Voila, instant 5 hour layover)
Hate that. I had it happen in SFO when United was having Denver blizzard issues. Though I was able to catch planes eventually which might be more than some could say in those few days.

What is even happening?

Oh Maria, it's not fair that you're sick on your birthday. Don't fool around too long. Chikat ended up with walking pneumonia and I have ebola-sars.

Eta...

The doctor looked up my nose, today. At this stage of my life, I'm less embarrassed when he looks up my goolie.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Seemed she had a different code when it came to babies.

Our vicious bitch of a tabby cat was like that when my sister was wee. Mean as a snake to everyone else, but very tolerant of the toddler picking her up and hanging her over her shoulder.

Morning, all!

Good morning, Fay!

Half way through book, still sucks. I've resorted to skimming.
