Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Now on our 2nd live Breeders performance. GF rocks - she taped all of this shit back in the good old days (90s). Now we're transferring it all to DVD. Rock.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Do you have a video of The Breeders' appearance on Conan O'Brian?

It was awesome! They all attacked Conan and one gave him a hickie.

Hey. New board.

I tried Opera, long ago, but at the time it was "pay" or "have some annoying ads!" and my browsing needs were minor - I think we're talking early IE4 days, and I didn't have a computer of my own yet. The tabs were awesome, then, and I could see the future, but I felt no need to pay for it.

Then I was on Linux for a long time, which was the first OS to get browsers that copied Opera's tabs successfully, and never had a very good actual Opera version while I was using it. I've been using Firefox since it was called Phoenix (and maybe Firebird at some point? I've forgotten the deets) and before that I used a slate of linux-only browsers that used the Mozilla engine (Galleon was one whose name I recall). Firefox et al were an obvious choice on Linux because of the whole Open Source Unites! thing.

Then I switched to a Mac and used Firefox immediately because my other choice was IE (Safari wasn't out yet). Used it until Safari came out, and switched for a while. Then I discovered true love with Camino, and have had no need to look at other browsers since. I did download Opera for Mac once, recently, but wasn't too impressed. I might try it again, but for me, Camino is home now. I doubt I'll switch without truly compelling feature differences, which Opera isn't offering me anymore.

That story was way too long. Sorry. I feel geeky now. Especially since I just reread HP5 this weekend, in lieu of getting shit done.

ION. Pete (and the rest of the frag group) I soooo tried to get X-box Live this weekend. But Microsoft is truly pissing me off. I posted the story in my LJ. Don't feel like wasting the bandwidth in here with the conversation. I left it public, so look-see. Same username as I use in here. grrrrrr.

Trust my rage

Happy Birthday, Kristin!

I'm in Florida right now and I really don't want to go home. Maybe if Joe was going with me I'd feel better about it but he's off to Seattle for the week. I keep consoling myself with the fact that we have already been in PR for 8 months (although it doesn't seem that long), but I can't believe we have to stay for at least two more years. Being home really makes me miss the US.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Happy birthday Kristin! Oh, right, that means it's my brother's birthday too.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday Kristin!!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Merry KristinT Day, everyone!

Our wings are not tired.

Hey Stephanie! Where are you in Florida? If you are in Miami maybe I can pop down and share a cuppa Cuban with you.

Happy Birthday to Kristin!
