Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Way late to the party but I finally installed Firefox and I think I'm in love. I have an adorable pink theme, tabs, and more to explore! Woot!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hee. I resisted Firefox for yeeeeears, thinking I had no need for tabbed browsing. Now I lurve it.

Waves to thread! Hi all! Boise is......well, kinda cold and rainy. Much like the Bay Area has been.

I'm all checked in and waiting for room service to deliver my dinner. The front desk clerk was all "wow, you are here for a long stay". When I worked front desk, 5 days was on the longer side for business travelers, but not unusual. Interesting.

Lee is a wonderful host, for anyone who has not yet experienced her graciousness. Thanks for a fun visit, my dear.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Not only tabs but tabs you can move around. Though the arrows are starting to haunt me. I have a lot I want to read and each thing seems to lead to two or three more tabs opening. Still tabs are wonderful and I am their bitch.

Thrive to spite them

I love Firefox. I hate that at work I'm forced to use IE and not even the latest version. There are a couple of extensions for Firefox that I think would make an officemate's life easier but we asked our IT department and they won't let us use Firefox.

Of course we aren't even using the latest versions of Windows Office.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

GF and I are now opening a joint checking account with them. Anyone done that?

Yes. We were intrigued by the mortgage but it appeared to top out at some low amount, like $200K.

Henna disappointment: was a total PITA to apply and keep on my head, and no discernable difference. Sigh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You Johnny-come-latelies. Poor Opera, never getting any love, having had tabbed browsing before Firefox got its cool name.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I use Firefox at work even though officially the company only supports IE -- fortunately, we have a wonderful local IT team who is more than happy to install Firefox for anyone who asks.

You Johnny-come-latelies.

Do I get points for being an ex-Opera user who has since switched to Firefox? Or am I doubly scorned for being a traitor?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Damn, it must suck to have a work computer where you don't have admin rights....

You, Jessica, are knowingly sinning.

I'm just pouty because whenever people are being choosy about what browsers they support, I get the short end of the stick. I use Firefox--I'm using it now, because Opera and CBS Innertube don't play nice.

But for standard browsing, like now, I always come back home.
