Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Well, I only slept until 10:30. Which is better than yesterday, when I slept until 1, or the day before, when I slept until 4. Just need to get up at 8:30 tomorrow to get back on track.

I need to grade papers. I also need to eat lunch. I think I'm going to get a burrito. Or maybe I'll be healthy and get soup. Except I'm sick of soup.

Also, I got a new contact lens case. It's green, and it has a picture of a chimp wearing glasses on it. I am inordinately pleased about this. (It also comes with a matching set of tweezers, and I can't quite figure out what those are for -- they're too bendy to do much good in tweezing anything.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

All this tat talk has me jonesing for my third. I know what I want, and where I want it, I just need to give birth first..stoopid gestation.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I just realised I had picture of Michelle Trachtenberg open in my browser. Now that I've passed the link on, I can close it.

Isn't that Alyssa Milano?

ETA: I just went to that link again and a different photo came up. A refresh of the page returned yet another photo. In conclusion, ita is not craxy, but her links are!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Isn't that Alyssa Milano?

I went back to check, not expecting to see anything other than Dawn, especially since MT's name is in the URL. But every time I load the URL, I get a different picture. I stopped when I got one of AH.

So...not necessarily MT, but so far, lots of pretty women. No idea how that works.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

So...not necessarily MT, but so far, lots of pretty women. No idea how that works.

I guess I should've reloaded, I opened it once, got Sharon Stone, and fled.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I have henna'd a strand test's worth of hair! Exciting. I have also gone for a swim, walked to the bakery, done a bunch of review for a paper for school, and made vegetable stock. Well, started it, anyway. It's simmering now. Will use the stock to make lentil stew for dinner.

Still to do: actually henna hair (after washing and drying test strand), cook lentil stew, and probably more school stuff.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Poor Cassey back. I've never been tempted to get a tattoo and the experiences I read hear confirm my decision. Have serious issues with needles, pain, itching. Never would take on these things voluntarily. Eeep.
To be fair, the back ow last night was a muscle spasm back from when I messed my back up lo over a year ago. It sometimes comes back. The drugs and heat seemed to have worked last night, so far.

The tat is mildly itching but mostly I was just highly grumpy last night because other stuff was wrong. Spasm and PMS-y backache. And whiny.

One thing that helps with itching -- I know this is weird -- is to smack the area that's itching. It gives the itchy nerve endings something to deal with, but you don't end up accidentally gouging yourself.
Perfect! Thanks, Tep.

The flake of black didn't worry me because I was warned that the top layer would do that. It just made me very aware that it was starting to heal and flake and Do. Not. Touch.

Daytona qualifying. Oh blessed racing narcotics. Methadone is just delicious today.
