I walk. I talk. I shop, I sneeze. I'm gonna be a fireman when the floods roll back. There's trees in the desert since you moved out. And I don't sleep on a bed of bones.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Brendan's gf looks like Michelle Trachtenberg (don't feel like looking up the spelling).

Nice tat Cass. I'm having a friend design my 3rd. It will be Eve with the serpent looking over her shoulder while she's holding out an apple. She goes on my left shoulder.

I don't think my parents know about either of mine. The first one would have been the only one I'd have bothered to tell them about because I was (though out of the house) a teenager. I got that one and my belly button pierced at the same time. I told mom about the belly button, and then she was like "At least you didn't get a tatoo, so I kept my mouth shut.

The fleur-de-lis probably means the most to me though. I got it at absolutely the right time and the right place, even though it wasn't my idea at all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just realised I had picture of Michelle Trachtenberg open in my browser. Now that I've passed the link on, I can close it.

do you think it's the distance that makes it hard for her to grasp? Or do you think she'd be confused even if you lived in the same area, er, country?

It's just her. To be honest, she's hardly the only person that doesn't understand it, but she's the one most invested in my wellbeing, and doesn't feel comfortable unless she understands it. I feel bad for her, even as I tease her. But mostly I try and tell her it's okay--that he's hardly the only person looking out for me, that it doesn't have to be all about leaning on the one person. But I don't think that's how she came up.

Thing is, she didn't get married until her 30s. Who looked after her until then?

I suppose if I had family around it'd bother her less.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I had a very nice dinner out with Juliana, Suzi, Emily, and javachik, and then we played I never, and now I'm tipsy, and Suzi and I are watching Sportsnight.

YAY

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

That sounds perfect, Lee!

Yes, as true Buffista geeks we are sitting here with alcohol, dueling computers and Sports Night. It don't get too much betta!!!

Well, "I Never" was betta, but what gets disclosed in "I Never" stays in "I Never". Especially that one thing, that we all drank to...and that other thing...

Um, Suzi, we all drank on the other thing too.
