You're not gonna jokey-rhyme your way out of this one.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, good.

Although, telling them about the first one went better than expected. Turns out they were so thrilled I wasn't pregnant that they weren't bothered at all.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Mine did not. In fact, I'm not sure my mother ever told my father.

Ok. I put in the next Season 2 Disc. It's Surprise, which means I'm gonna have to watch Innocence too.

Trust my rage

Oh, Surprise/Innocence. I just love those episodes so much. Just after Becoming. I always feel so sad for Buffy. Man, I miss Buffy. Such a great show.

I think you and Lee should help me pick a tattoo for my first non-self-done one.

How... or where, did you learn to a) tattoo, and b) tattoo yourself? Also, what don't you know all about?

Hit post too soon:

Laura - B and his girlfriend are, dare I say it, adorable.

Hec, I hope things are OK.

Robin - I can't remember whether I posted, but all the best surgery-ma to you. My recovery experience was excellent, FWIW.

Surprise was the first episode I ever saw. I was hooked from the moment I turned on the tv.

Such a good plan for telling the parents stuff. Not pregnant, it's all good.

Thanks for all the nice comments on Big B and the GF. Well, friend that is a girl. He is still avoidant of the GF word.

Yeah. It was pretty funny. Started with..."Mom. Dad. I need to tell you something."

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My dad just got this "you people are like such aliens to me" look that he gets a lot of the time when my sister and I tell him stuff.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I was a hero at the library today. A girl who was having some trouble with English was trying to explain to the librarian that she couldn't return a DVD because it was stuck in her laptop. I got a paper clip from the librarian and retrieved it. Okay, there was not any actual world-saving involved, but that's probably as close as I'll come. She was very happy, anyway.

There was a tiny boy clutching a couple of children's books walking into the library. He was telling his mother, "I'm going to get this book and I'm going to get another book and another book." Then he yelled, "I have my library card!"
