Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm barely awake. And I need to go teach in an hour, and then train for six. Just planning the day's calorification (eating just isn't the right word at this point) is making me want to go back to bed.

How much do I love the fact that eldiablo at diablosound dot com is now a valid email address.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm kind of cleaning. So far I have declared the guest bathroom clean enough, and the guest room well enough vacuumed and dusted. Next up is blowing up and making the guest beds, then moving on to the front part of the apartment.

It will all be worth it for the big time made of awesome fun we have tonight. (Don't tell, but I'm planning on getting everyone drunk enough that they don't notice the dirt I missed.)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I just woke up. I'm trying to think of something interesting to do this weekend. Really, though, I think I'm going to have to spend most of it grading.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I love Diablo Sound. Great company name.

I am at work , then lunch with SiL and adorable nephew, followed by our usual Saturday dinner and movie date. Tomorrow we are going to the Outlet Mall. We decided buying some clothes and stuff would be our valentine to each other this year. Not particularly romantic, especially as I am mainly going to be looking for loose pants to wear post-surgery.

I am tired because we talked about how much this operation would cost us last night and I spent a lot of time worrying about it and barely slept. Of course I remembered this morning that our insurance has an out-of-pocket limit of $1,500, so that's all I have to worry about. As HR person, I have explained our insurance to lots of employees so why this fact did not occur to me last night is rather annoying.

brillig

Next up is blowing up and making the guest beds, then moving on to the front part of the apartment.

Somehow I'm thinking this doesn't involve C4 or dynamite, like I first thought.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How is everyone's weekend going?

Shitty. We had kind of an emergency this morning, but I can't share the details. Insent, Teppy.
